Live participation allows teacher to pace the slides as the students view the lesson from their Chromebook or devices. Live participation works well for whole group instruction and may require the teacher and may require minimal teacher modeling to complete.
Students complete the session independently and may require teacher modeling on completing assessments, quizzes, collaborative boards, or other interactive elements in the Nearpod session. You can provide this option for a small group activity during intervention. If you are to use this feature for small groups, make sure your lesson is fair and provides content for the allotted time.
Data collection is empiracle in the field of teaching. Nearpod provides data for teachers to analyze for whole and small group instruction.
